  A nice place with amazing views and the owners are nice. But, I would hesitate to call it, as the owners say, a "luxury" resort. Here's why: For me, luxury means gourmet foods, A++ spa, transfers to/from the nearest airport (ferry in this case). - The spa is great. - No restaurant. - No transfer. These are just a few things to be aware of, nothing major. I'd still recommend a visit!!

  We used to go here in their early years. Very nice get away. We came here for over five years and enjoyed the accommodations and service. On our last romantic get away package over $500 we asked if the Tuwanek Hotel coffee mugs were included....and we were denied by Chris. $5 avertising mugs denied to lose customers forever. Bad business practice or owner arrogance? I cant recommend this business. They sell an image but it is all just an image.
